Brownout Due To Abnormal Supply From NGCP

According to SURNECO General Manager Engr. Narciso Caliao Jr., the Placer Substation experienced Total Power Loss due to outage of Butuan-Placer 138KV Transmission Line.

The total outage at Butuan Substation and Placer Substation at around 5:40PM today affected the NGCP Customers like ANECO, MORESCO II, SURSECO II, ASELCO, SURNECO and SIARELCO. NGCP will update the general managers of the said electric cooperative once they will find the root cause of the incident.

Update: Electricity was restored 7:03 PM. Reason of power interruption was outage of Nasipit-Butuan 138kV line due to lightning strike and heavy rains. (with GMNICJ | RPN DXKS)
