The Provincial Government of Ilocos Norte (PGIN), through its Ilocos Norte Trade and Investment Center (INvest) will conduct an Investment Conference on July 25, at the Ascott Bonifacio Global City, Metro Manila, to be participated by businessmen and entrepreneurs, highlighting initiatives for business growth in the province.
Titled “Invest: Ilocos Norte Investment Conference,” the event aims to strengthen relationships and explore promising business opportunities in Ilocos Norte that will drive economic growth and progress.
Professionals in the field of business and investments will discuss relevant topics, namely Dr. Bernardo Villegas, Research Director of the University of Asia and the Pacific will discuss the “Investor’s Guide to the Economies of the Philippines and Ilocos Norte;” Mr. Ernesto Delos Reyes, Jr., Director at the Department of Trade and Industry-Board of Investments for the discussion on “Investment Made Easy-Assistance and Incentives;” and Mr. Eric Chua, Vice President of the Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Ilocos Norte for the topic “Inside Ilocos Norte: Business Insights.”
The conference will also feature investment pitches on key sectors with high investment potential, particularly food and agriculture; tourism and creative industries; IT-BPM and infrastructure; and renewable energy. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with local officials, industry experts, and fellow businessmen to gain insights into the strategic advantages of investing in Ilocos Norte.
In addition to informative sessions, the event will include networking opportunities designed to facilitate connections and potential collaborations among participants. PGIN aims to leverage this gathering to attract both local and international investors, ultimately contributing to the region’s economic advancement.
This investment conference is in line with Governor Matthew Marcos Manotoc and the Provincial Government’s ongoing efforts to promote economic growth and development in the province.
