The ′′ Launching and Orientation of Barangay Information Officers (BION) Network ′′ was held this morning at 9:30 am, December 11, 2020
The event was held at the Zamboanga Del Norte Convention and Exhibition Center (ZNCEC) Plenary Hall, attended by Barangay Information Officers from 21 barangays here in the city.
The goal and purpose of this event is to create the relief of taught Information Officers from countrymen, to preach fresh and accurate information from headline to countryside, as well as local news to it’s a shame, for the interest of the people, to give people proper care and also to correct the wrong news (fake news) that will give confusion and deceiving the people.
Moreover, that the opportunity of this event was ordered through a memorandum of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), joins the tight support of local governments in the provinces and towns across the country, where Here in the city, the City Information Office led it under the management of City Information Officer, Lorenzo A. Aseniero II.
During the program, councilor Praxides P. congratulated on his welcome remarks. Rubia, kinsa representing City Mayor Darel Dexter T. Hey, with DOH Provincial Field Officer, Dr. Jane S. Jaug, OIC Provincial Information Officer, Atty. Goldie P. Gonzales, PIA OIC Mr. Emmanuel D. Taghoy, League of Barangay President, councilor Julius B. Gajonera and City DILG Officer, Sherrie Charlota Machutes, thinking of the honored guests.
Typical of this program is the oath of the participants through reading the ′′ Pledge of Commitment “, led by councilor Julius B. Gajonera
It is expected that in the early part of the fire year, there will be more training to add knowledge to Barangay Information Officers here in the area. (CIO-great)
