BAGUIO CITY – PhP102,000.00 worth of shabu weighing around fifteen (15) grams was confiscated from a drug personality during the execution of a search warrant yesterday evening, September 12, 2025 at Purok Magsasay, Loakan Proper, Baguio City.
The suspect was at home when authorities served the warrant. During the search, three (3) plastic sachets containing suspected illegal drugs known as methampethamine chloride otherwise known as shabu as well as drug paraphernalia were found.
Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-CAR Regional Director Derrick Arnold C Carreon, identified the suspect as a 49-year-old man from Pasig City who resided at Loakan, Baguio City for a year.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Cordillera Baguio-Benguet Provincial Office (PDEA CAR- Baguio-Benguet PO), Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET), and the Baguio City Police Office arrested the suspect. He will face charges for violation of Sections 11 and 12, Article 2 of Republic Act 9165 known as the “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002”.
