96 New Police Officers Take Oath In PRO 9

    A total of 96 police recruits took their oath as new members of the Philippine National Police (PNP) during the ceremony held at the Joaquin F Enriquez Memorial Sports Zamboanga City on October 30, 2020. PBGEN. Jesus D. Cambay, Jr., Regional Director, PRO9 administered the oath of the newly appointed Patrolman and Patrolwoman who were able to pass the selection process for the 1st and 2nd cycle of attrition quota for 2020.

    The Regional Director welcomed the new batch of police officers composed of 83 male and 13 female, and lauded them for passing the neuropsychiatric test, physical agility test, random drug tests, and complete background investigation, physical, medical and dental examination.

    The newly appointed policewomen and policemen are expected to be turned over to the Regional Training Center 9 (RTC9) for their six months Public Safety Basic Recruit Course (PSBRC). After which they will undergo another six months of Field Training Exercises (FTX) and 45 days PNP Basic Internal Security Operation Course (BISOC).

    As patrolmen and patrolwomen, they will receive a basic monthly salary of ₱ 29, 668.00 aside from allowances and other benefits. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
