As of June 15, 2021, Caraga Region now records a total of 18,551 confirmed cases, with 14,263 recoveries, 3,740 still in isolation, and 548 deaths.

DOH Caraga is hopeful that cases of COVID-19 in the region will gradually decline in the coming days due to the implementation of MECQ in selected areas in the region.

During the 34th RTF COVID-19 Meeting, Dr. Dioharra Aparri said that they are expecting a decline in the epidemic curve in the region especially in Butuan City, Agusan del Sur, Surigao del Sur, and Dinagat Islands, which are now placed under more stringent community quarantine protocols. Due to the steady increase of recorded cases, Caraga Region currently remains under moderate risk status.
