Claver, Surigao Del Norte – The Local Government Unit of Claver has simultaneously released today Php4,000.00 each for 389 fully vaccinated senior citizens in accordance with Municipal Ordinance No. 11, series of 2021.
“Atong gigahinan ug Five Million Pesos ang programa nga maghatag ug cash for food sa atong mga Senior Citizens tungod kay sayud kita sa sila ang pinaka vulnerable niining Covid-19 ug arun maka enganyo usab kita sa uban senior citizens nga magpabakuna na,” Claver Mayor Georgia Gokiangkee said during the launching program at the Taganito Gym, Brgy. Taganito, Claver, Surigao del Norte.
The LGU of Claver is presently rolling out cash assistance to fully vaccinated senior citizens who were able to qualify in the eligibility requirements set in the Ordinance. A Senior Citizen however who only availed the first (1st) dose of the vaccine shall be eligible for the full amount granting his/her attending physician certifies his/her ineligibility to continue for the second (2nd) dose of vaccine.
Finally, LGU is adhering to existing safety and health protocols in releasing the cash to lessen the exposure of its beneficiaries and personnel to covid-19.
