Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 arrested 32 drug suspects and seized a total of ₱ 849,334.40 worth of shabu and marijuana during the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations on illegal drugs conducted starting last Friday (July 30) until 9 AM last Saturday (July 31).
POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M. CARAMAT, JR, PRO13 Director, disclosed that the 35 anti-illegal drugs operations consist of 15 implementation of Search Warrants and 20 operations through buy-bust yielded to the confiscation of 71.8 grams of shabu and 38.08 grams of marijuana.
Data from the Regional Operations Division 13 showed that 10 operations were conducted by Surigao del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO), eight by Agusan del Norte PPO, seven by Surigao del Norte PPO, five by Agusan del Sur PPO, and another five by Butuan City Police Office.
Arrested during the operation conducted by personnel of Bislig City Police Station and Surigao del Sur Provincial Special Operations Group in Core 2, Brgy. Poblacion, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur was Analyn A. Sabado, 30 years old, a High-Value Individual categorized as a pusher. Operating troops confiscated 6.5grams of shabu with a Dangerous Drug Board value of ₱ 76,700.00 from her possession.
Meanwhile, the implementation of a search warrant in P-7, Bolo Bolo, Brgy. San Vicente, Jabonga, Agusan del Norte conducted by the personnel of Jabonga Municipal Police Station and Provincial Intelligence Unit of Agusan del Norte PPO resulted in the arrest of Rhad A. Oliveros, 38 years old, and confiscation of 8 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 6 grams with DDB value of ₱ 70, 800 and other drug paraphernalia.
Other suspects arrested were Gina Mae Evangelio, 21 years old, resident of P-1B, Brgy. Poblacion, Barobo, Surigao del Sur; Mike S. Betangcol, 34 years old, resident of P-3, Brgy. Diatagon, Lianga, Surigao del Sur; Phillip J. Cagas, 38 years old, resident of P-3, Brgy. Libertad, Butuan City; Randy N. Castro, 46 years old, resident of P-1, Brgy. Balibayon, Surigao City, William Cepeda, 32 years old, resident of P-1, Brgy. La Union, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte; Michael C. Resulta, 36 years old, resident of P-5, Brgy. Del Pilar, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte; Neil M. Masudog, 33 years old, resident of P-8, Brgy. Tina, San Miguel, Surigao del Sur; Silvano L. Go, Jr, 26 years old, resident of P-8, Brgy. Tina, San Miguel, Surigao del Sur; Valsher Baito a.k.a. Jal/Dongskie, 37 years old, resident of P-1, Brgy. Amparo, Butuan City; Paul Adrian B. Millana, 38 years old, resident of P-3, Patin-ay, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur, and 20 others who are all now under the custody of respective operating police units.
“There will be no let-up in our campaign against illegal drugs especially now that we have been continuously making headway in our endeavors to eradicate the drug menace in our community,” RD CARAMAT, JR. said.
