Camp Col. Rafael C. Rodriguez, Butuan City – Province of Agusan del Sur response to the COVID-19 pandemic jacked-up in constructing Isolation/Multi-Purpose Building worth of Php5,000,000 starting in the month of July.
Police Regional Office 13 Regional Director POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL ROMEO M CARAMAT JR disclosed that the Infrastructure site will be constructed inside Camp D.O Plaza in Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office. A total of 10 rooms with 20 bed capacity will cater police officers assigned in Agusan del Sur infected with the virus.
The isolation facility was designed to make sure probable COVID-19 carriers be separated from their families or networks until they completed the required 14-day confinement period and cleared to return home.
According to RD CARAMAT JR. from the report of POLICE COLONEL RINGO C ZARZOSO Provincial Director of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office the isolation facility budget was donated by the Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur with estimated range of 24×7 meters or 168 square meters.
The top cop expressed his gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Agusan del Sur for the endless support to police officers rendering service in the province particularly this period of pandemic.
“Caraga is improving its isolation measures through constructions of facilities to mitigate the spike of infections in communities as part of its national response against COVID-19. We constantly urge the Caraganons to be watchful and avoid non-essentials task that will threaten your health, follow orders and directives given by the proper authorities,” RD CARAMAT JR. added.
