The Zamboanga City Medical Center (ZCMC) has inaugurated it’s dormitory Wednesday morning located inside the ZCMC compound.
The dormitory is located on the 3rd floor of Cancer Center Building, inside the ZCMC compound.
In a ZCMC Public Affairs and Customer Care Unit (PACCU), facebook post said, Medical Center Chief Dr. Afdal B. Kunting said “It is also the priority of ZCMC to ensure that its healthcare workers are well taken cared of especially during their tour of duties.”
The Dormitory will be a temporary home for healthcare workers of ZCMC who go on perpetual duties.
The rooms are equipped with split-type air condition, four to six bunk beds, a television and a closet. There are separate rooms for the male and female occupants as well as comfort rooms and shower rooms.
Sheikh Hayder Buddin, Rev. Fr. Jovel Palermo and Rev. Arturo A. Veladiez officiated the blessing of 70 room dormitory.
Medical Center Chief Dr. Afdal Kunting together with Dr. Aeesha Y. Pingli, Chief of Medical Professional Services and other ExeCom members of the hospital spearheaded the event.
