Zambonga del Sur- Another milestone for ZAMSURECO-II as it expanded its services and opened its newest MCO Collection/Bayad Center at Barangay Población, Bayog, Zamboanga del Sur on September 2, 2021 at 9:00 AM. Gracing the official launching are Mayor Celso Matias and PS/Acting General Manager Jose Raul A. Saniel, who led the ribbon cutting ceremony. The event was also attended by MCOs, ZAMSURECO-II Department Managers, Sub-office Managers, and Staff of Buug sub-office. Rev. Father Joy Rocamora officiated the blessing ceremony. Cong. Leonardo “Jun” Babasa of the 2nd District of Zamboanga del Sur, dropped-by at the end of the blessing ceremony to extend his best wishes to ZAMSURECO-II.
The said MCO Bayad Center is strategically located in the town center beside the municipal gymnasium. It is accessible, safe, decent, fully air-conditioned, convenient, and manned by customer-friendly employees to ensure that paying MCOs are comfortable and well-cared.
Apart from accepting bill payments, the MCO Bayad Center is an Action Center, which will receive complaints/feedbacks and process electric service connection applications, among other services, PS/AGM Saniel said. The Center has ready available materials to immediately act on complaints and other-related concerns from MCOs.
Mayor Matias, in his message, thanked PS/AGM Saniel and ZAMSURECO-II for establishing a Bayad and Action Center in the Municipality of Bayog, which will provide convenience and comfort to paying customers especially during this time of pandemic. The Mayor further said that the Bayog LGU will always support ZAMSURECO-II in its development endeavors.
With this newly established MCO Action and Bayad Center, MCOs from the municipality of Bayog and neighboring municipalities can have fast access to bills payment and other related services being offered by ZAMSURECO-II to its MCOs.
With ZAMSURECO-II’s firm commitment of bringing and delivering quality services closer to its Member-Consumer-Owners, the Cooperative will continue to innovate to ensure power quality and reliability in order to boost the economic activity of the municipality of Bayog and nearby areas, PS/AGM Saniel concluded.
