ZAMBOANGA: CITY HONORS 26 EMPLOYEES FOR DEDICATED SERVICE DURING FLAG –RAISING RITES

    The city government during the flag raising ceremony on Monday, January 26 recognizes 26 employees who have dedicated 25 years of service to the public.

    Representing Mayor Khymer Olaso, Chief of Staff and Secretary to the mayor, Celso Lobregat led the recognition rites as part of the preparations for this year’s 25 Years Service Awards Program with the “25 Años de Servicio: Héroe del Tiempo Moderno.”

    In his message, Lobregat reminded the awardees and all city government employees to put to heart the Juramento de un Empleado de Govierno, emphasizing integrity, professionalism, and dedication to public service. “Si sigui lang ustedes pone na corazon, y cabeza, hinde lang na boca el Juramiento del un empleado, siguro nohay kita problema,” Lobregat said.

    Meanwhile, Lobregat during the flag raising ceremony also informed city workers about agreements reached to address frequent delays in salaries of job order employees. He said the proposed measures to address the issue were presented and approved by Mayor Olaso last Friday, January 23.

    On the other hand, the Human Resource and Management Office (CHRMO) presented this year’s 26 Service Awardees who come from different departments of the city. After their presentation, the awardees had their photo shoot at the City Hall conference room.

    The awardees include Ms. Hazel Luddie F. Chiong, Senior Bookkeeper, of the Office of the City Accountant; Nelson R. Arcillas, Farm Worker I, Abelardo M. Carpio III, Agricultural Center Chief II, Rogelio N. Porras, Agricultural Technologist, and Conrado Y. Tria, Jr., Farm Foreman, of the Office of the City Agriculturist; Jeffrey K. Filoteo, Motor Pool Supervisor II, and Edwin O. Pantaleon, Construction and Maintenance General Foreman, of the Office of the City Engineer; Josel F. Andico, Labor Foreman, Arthur F. Paclibar, Environmental Management Specialist II, Roger E. Rojas, Laborer I, and Modesto R. Tuble, Jr., Driver I, of the Office of the City Environment and Natural Resources; Alberto C. Alvarez, Laborer I, and Socorro M. Santos, Laborer I (Casual Item-Wages), of the Office of the City General Services; Jasmin M. Dusaran, Midwife II, and Raul Antonio M. Lacandalo, Sanitation Inspector I, of the Office of the City Health; Roberto D. Talaboc, Jr., Human Resource Management Officer IV,of the Office of the City Human Resource Management; Marco I. Feliciano, Administrative Aide III, Arthur T. Fernando, Administrative Aide IV, and Oliver T. Rojas, Utility Worker I, of the Office of the City Mayor; Benjamin V. Ledesma, Jr., Administrative Aide III, Maria Gracia Concepcion E. Sanson, Project Development Officer IV, and Roger R. Santos, Draftsman I, of the Office of the City Planning and Development Coordinator; Clarinda R. Alvarez, Cashier III, Jacqueline Suzanne B. De Fiesta, Revenue Collection Clerk III, and Roland T. Jalon Francisco, Local Revenue Collection Officer II, of the Office of the City Treasurer; and Ellen J. Waminal, Administrative Aide III, of Colegio De La Ciudad De Zamboanga.
