The Zamboanga City delegation to the National Para Games 2024 achieves early triumph as it secures 18 medals during the first two days of the competition being held at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex in Manila, and the PhilSports Arena in Pasig, from November 11 to 14.
The impressive haul included four (4) gold medals in athletics, two (2) in swimming, five (5) in athletics, three (3) in chess, and one (1) silver medal, and three (3) bronze medals.
The team’s performance highlights the dedication and skill of Zamboanga City’s para-athletes.
Specific details on individual athlete achievements and event breakdowns will be released on November 14.
