SURIGAO CITY, Philippines — The Surigao City Local Council of Women (LCW) led by its President Julian Ann Kang in partnership with the office of the City Social Welfare Development proudly presents the official candidates of the first-ever “Dyosa ng Tahanan 2023” pageant on March 31, 2023, which will be held at the City Auditorium.
The 15 candidates are composed of 4Ps – Pantawid, Pamilyang, Pilipino Program beneficiaries, and Indigenous People members aged 25 to 45 years old.
To celebrate and promote gender equality and inclusivity in time for Women’s Month, the pageant is FREE admission.
The candidates will be showcasing their festival attires made out of ethnic, cultural, and recyclable materials.
The winners of the ‘Dyosa ng Tahanan’ 2023 pageant winner will receive a cash prize of P8,000, the first runner-up will receive P5,000, and P3,000, for the 2nd runner-up.

Aside from the beauty pageant, a variety show will also be held on March 31, 2023, in the morning.
Participants in the variety show are from Brgy. Rizal, Brgy. San Juan, Brgy. Mat-i, Brgy. Luna, Brgy. Canlanipa, and Brgy. Sabang.
The winners of the variety show will receive a cash prize of P10,000, the first runner-up will receive P5,000, and P3,000, for the 2nd runner-up.
