In celebration of Philippine Environment Month, the City Environment and Natural Resources (ENRO) Office joined the Provincial Government of Surigao del Norte’s Environmental Forum to address waste management in Surigao del Norte.
“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle,” was the main battle cry of the forum to spread awarness on efficient waste management, preservation of resources, and protection of the environment to create a sustainable future for generations to come.
Present during the forum was Vice Governor Eddie Gokiangkee Jr., Board Member Victor Bernal, PENR Officer/Provincial Chief of Staff Oscar Pospia, MGB XIII Regional Director Engr. Larry Hernandez, CENR Officer Ruel Efren, Provincial Environmental Consultant Antonieto Charcos, Acting City ENRO Officer Raul Tarpin and representatives from various Municipalities of Surigao del Norte.
