Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City – The respective Provincial Directors of Agusan del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO) and Dinagat Islands PPO formally turned over the position to new successors in a separate Turn-Over of Command Ceremony held at their respective PPO Headquarters last August 1.
The Regional Director of Police Regional Office 13, PBGEN ROMEO M CARAMAT, JR., revealed that PCOL FILEMON O PACIOS, the former Chief of the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division, has been appointed as the new Provincial Director of Agusan del Norte PPO, as per General Order Number PRO13-SO-RA-2022-894 to replace PCOL HELSON B WALIN.
Meanwhile, according to General Order Number PRO13-GO-DES-2022-5343, PCOL ARIEL R RED, who previously held the position of Chief, Regional Headquarters Support Unit is now appointed as Provincial Director of Dinagat Islands PPO replacing PCOL DENNIS SIRUNO.
Both orders have the same effective date of August 1, 2022. PCOL WALIN who served in Agusan del Norte PPO since January 8, 2022 is now assigned to the PRO13 Headquarters while PCOL SIRUNO will take over as Officer-In-Charge of Surigao del Sur PPO tomorrow, August 2.
“I am confident that these two new Provincial Directors can keep the substantial gains of the outgoing Provincial Directors and will step up the aggressive fight against criminality, illegal drugs, and terrorism. Meanwhile, I urge the new Provincial Directors to continue the internal cleansing efforts to clean the ranks from rogue policemen,” RD CARAMAT JR said.
