LTFRB Caraga together with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Caraga, conducted a graduation program for the Tsuper Iskolar: DOTr Scholarship Training Program last 22 February 2023 at Cabadbaran City.
A total of 25 scholars, 24 from Caraga Butuan Transport Service Cooperative (Carbutransco) and 1 from Agusan Sur Transport Service Cooperative (Agsurtransco) have completed the TESDA Driving NC II module. Aside from the free skill training assessment, they also received Php 350.00 per training as their food and transport allowance for fifteen (15) days.
The program was attended by LTFRB Caraga Acting CTDO Emmanuel Ian U. Primero together with the personnel from the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program – Regional Project Management Office (PUVMP-RPMO) Caraga, Emmie V. Yanong, Technical Head, TESDA PO – Agusan del Norte, Harvey P. Tabilo, TESD Specialist II, TESDA PO – Agusan del Norte, REV. FR. Mart James Presillas, Assistant School Director, Candelaria Institute of Technology of Cabadbaran, Inc.
Tsuper Iskolar is a program initiated by the government which aims to provide free skills training, skills assessment, and entrepreneurship training to PUV drivers, conductors, and their family members.
