Shooting incident transpired along Veterans Avenue, Brgy. Eastside, Isabela City, Basilan at 5:10 PM of November 30, 2020. The victim was identified as Richard Sarao Patino, 33 years old, single and a resident of Brgy. Sunrise, Isabela City.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that prior to the incident; the victim was buying grilled fish at said place, when unidentified suspect shot him with the used of unknown caliber and thereafter fled towards city proper.
Victim sustained gunshot wound on his right upper right ear and immediately rushed to Basilan General Hospital for medical treatment.
PNP personnel of Isabela City Police Station are now conducting investigation for the arrest of the fleeing suspect. (PCpt. Edwin A. Duco, Chief Public Information Officer)
