Senator Bong Revilla on Sunday visited Iriga City and provided assistance to some 1,000 residents of Barangay Sta. Cruz Sur and San Francisco affected by the massive flooding that took place on Tuesday, October 23. The relief distribution, held at the Iriga City Sports Center, aimed to provide immediate support to those grappling with the aftermath of the disaster.
Senator Revilla was joined by Mayor Rex Oliva, Congressman LRay Villafuerte, Congressman Migz Villafuerte, Vice Gov. Salvio Patrick F. Fortuno, Board Members Donna Ann Oñate and Jesha Aina F. Noble, Board Member Aspirant Bruno “Uno” Oliva and other city officials and department heads and heads of offices, staff of the DSWD, who collectively organized and oversaw the distribution of relief packs. Each package contained essential food to help families begin their recovery process.
Mayor Oliva expressed his heartfelt thanks to Senator Revilla, acknowledging him as the first senator to visit Iriga City and extend assistance following the typhoon.
