THE weekly Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) Forum on Tuesday centers on the country’s coming campaign in the William Jones Cup in Taipeh where players from Rain or Shine are representing the country.
Coach Yeng Guiao is the special guest in the public sports program to talk about the Elasto Painters’ chances in the August 12 to 20 tournament that is making a comeback after a three-year hiatus.
Rain or Shine, which finished a strong second in the just concluded Philippine Basketball Association On Tour, tapped naturalized player Ange Kouame as reinforcement.
The first part of the session which starts at 10 a.m. features former national fencing and long-time University of the East coach Rolando “Amat” Canlas Jr. and some of the winners in the recent 1st Burlington Inter-Club International Challenge led by four gold medalists Sophia Catantan of University of the East.
The Forum is presented by San Miguel Corp., Philippine Sports Commission, Milo, Philippine Olympic Committee and the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.
