Death of an Inmate at Zamboanga del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center(ZNCRC)
Manukan MPS– Be informed that at about 12:10 PM of September 2, 2021, Personnel from Zamboanga Del Norte Correctional and Rehabilitation Center (ZNCRC) located at Barangay Don Jose Aguirre informed Manukan MPS that one of their inmate identified as Bernardo Lugatiman Rambo, 61 years old, single, from Dansullan, Polanco, ZDN, accused of Rape docketed under Criminal Case No. 14121 was found lifeless inside cell 4 of the said prison institution. Acted upon the report, 3 PNP personnel of Manukan MPS led by PEMS Alberto Dinopol Ambetic Jr.-Duty Investigator proceeded to the above-mentioned place to conduct investigation thereat. Investigation revealed that at about 9:30am September 2, 2021, the lifeless body of the victim was discovered inside his detention cell by his cellmates lying on his bed. Cause of death is still to be determine By Dr. Alfredo Gerbabuena-RHU Manukan. Cadaver of the inmate currently in the Custody of ZNCRC.
Campaign against Illegal Fishing
Sindanangan MPS- Be informed that at about 12:30PM of September 2, 2021 PSSg Jessey Rey G Adipen-Seabourne Patroller together with PSSg Rene Boy Ramon- Maritime Police conducted coastal/riverine patrol at Sindangan Bay that resulted to arrest Rodolfo Requirme Lanat, 49 years old, married and a resident of Sitio Damusag, Barangay La Concepcion, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte who was caught in the act engaged in illegal fishing activity at Barangay La Concepcion, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte for violation of Sec. 47 of Municipal Ordinance number 2003-045 (Illegal Used of fine Mesh Net). Seized from his possession and control are blue/white combination fishing boat without motor/unregistered and Fine mesh net.The fishing boat was impounded and in the custody of Sindangan Maritime Precinct while the violator was released after he was issued Citation Tickets.

Sirawai MPS- Be informed that at about 4:50PM of September 2, 2021, personnel of Sirawai MPS led by PCPT JEFFERSON P ARELLANO together with BFAR Personnel of Sirawai conducted joint coastal patrol at shoreline of Sirawai Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to arrest Amsid Asmad Saitili, 31 y/o, married, fisherman and resident of Brgy Bongon, Sirawai, Zamboanga Del Norten who was caught on the act engage in illegal fishing in Brgy Bongon, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte for violation of municipal fishery ordinance under Article XII, Section 58 (fishing by a person not registered with the municipal registry). Seized from his possession and control are blue/green combination motorized fishing boat with an estimated amount of Thirty Thousand Pesos (Php 30,000). Subject fisherman and fishing boat were properly turned over to BFAR personnel of said Municipality for appropriate fines and penalties.
Vehicular Traffic Incident
Jose Dalman MPS- Be informed that at about 4:20 in the afternoon of September 2, 2021, PSSg Arnesto S Aniñon Jr informed Jose Dalman MPS that a vehicular incident transpired along the national highway of Barangay Poblacion, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte particularly at the blind curved portion. Acted upon the report, personnel of jose Dalman PS led by PSSg Noel L Dayo responded the reported incident. Upon arrival thereat, involved motorcycle as well the driver and victims were no longer in the crime scene. Initial investigation conducted by the IOC PMSg Siling disclosed, that one alias Nanan Villarubia driver of MC (complete details to be determine) together with his back rider Roger Largo Villarubia, 58 years old, married, fisherman, both residents of Barangay Poblacion, Jose Dalman, ZN were travelling from Poblacion proper going to barangay Siparok both of said municipality, upon reaching at the aforesaid place of incident, the driver losses control of his driven MC and accidentally sideswiped one Levi Caresosa, 26 y/o, married, housewife and resident of Brgy Tabon, Jose Dalman, ZN while walking at the sidewalk of the said place. They all sustained injuries due to said incident, however, Levi and Roger were brought to Rural Health Unit of Jose Dalman for medication by the bystander while alias Nanan fled going to Siparok, Jose Dalman, ZN after the incident. The PNP personnel of Jose Dalman MPS led by PMSg Wynner T Siling still conducting hot pursuit and further investigation to complete the details of involved MC as well as the identification of said alias NANAN for possible appropriate charge/s against him.
Arrest of Wanted Person
Sirawai MPS- Be informed that at about 5:40PM of September 2, 2021, personnel of Sirawai MPS led by PEMS Rymerjun Aries Pernito together with 905th Company, RMFB 9 and 2nd ZNPMFC conducted intel-driven operation in Brgy San Roque, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte against wanted person that resulted to arrest of Jestoni Encamina Amistoso, 30 y/o, single, DPWH road maintenance and a resident of Brgy San Nicolas, Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte. Subject person was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for Qualified Trespass to Dwelling docketed under Criminal Case Number 3596-S issued by Hon. Anthony B. Galleposo, Presiding Judge, MCTC, 9th Judicial Region, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte dated September 2, 2021 with Thirty Six Thousand Pesos (Php 36,000) bail bond recom for his temporary liberty. The arrested wanted person currently under the custody of Sirawai MPS for documentation and proper disposition

Liloy MPS – Be informed that about 6:00PM of September 2, 2021, PNP Personnel of Liloy MPS led by PMAJ ALEXIS M BAHUNSUA-ACOP together with the personnel of ZNPMFC led by PLTCOL VEDASTO J DASMARIÑAS III and personnel of ZNPHPT lead by PMAJ MERVIN S CLARET,, conducted joint Intel-driven manhunt operation in Barangay Punta, Liloy ZN that resulted to the arrest of Valeriano Deniega Macasaol, male, 66 years old, married and a resident of Brgy Punta, Liloy, ZN by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of “Acts of Lasciviousnes” docketed under Criminala Case Number 2500 duly issued by HON. ALEJANDRO T. CANDA- Presiding Judge of 7th MCTC, 9th Judicial Region Liloy- Tampilisan, Zamboanga Del Norte dated January 13, 2003 with Twelve Thousand pesos (₱12,000.00) bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty.The arrested wanted person currently under the custody of Liloy MPS for proper disposition.
