Campaign Against Illegal Fishing
Sindangan MPS- Be informed that at around 7:30AM of February 4, 2021, PNP personnel of Sindangan MPS led by PSSg Jessy Ray Adipen together with personnel from PNP Maritime Group (904th MARPSTA, ZN) conducted joint coastal and riverine patrol at the coastal Barangays of Sindangan, ZN. As a result, the team intercepted two violators identified as JEROME C. JUMAWAN, 26 years old, male, married, fisherman and resident of Calatunan, Sindangan, ZN, operator of the fishing boat “D Water Roaster” and LEO P. TUANDA, 58 years old, male, married, Filipino, fisherman and resident of Upper Inuman, Sindangan, ZN, operator of the fishing boat “Dona Jean”. Subject persons were caught in the act engaged in illegal fishing by the used of prohibited fish nets in Violation of Sec 47 (Illegal use of fine mesh net) and Sec 59 (mechanized push net) of Municipal Ordinance 2011-078 of the municipality of Sindangan, ZN. Confiscated from their possession were two fishing nets (fine and mechanized) and their fishing boats. All confiscated items and the violators are now in the custody of PNP Maritime Group (904th MARPSTA, ZN) for proper disposition.
Arrest of other Wanted Person
Dipolog CPS- Be informed that at about 4:30 PM of February 4, 2021, personnel of Dipolog CPS lead by PEMS Rey B Marcojos together with CIDG ZDN PFU conducted law enforcement at Brgy Turno, Dipolog City that resulted in the arrest of CRISTOPHER UBAG DE LEON, Filipino, single, male, 39 years old, high school level, laborer, a resident of said place by virtue of WOA for “VIOLATION OF CONCEALING TRUE NAME) docketed in Criminal Case Number B-77227 issued by Judge KENNETH P. ROSAL of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 2, Dipolog City, dated February 2, 2021 with bail bond amounting to Php 3, 000.00. Arrested suspect is now under the custody of Dipolog CPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of Other Wanted Person
Dapitan CPS- Be informed that at about 4:40 PM of February 4, 2021, alert team and Intel Operative of Dapitan CPS led by PSMS Ray Francis Hamoy together with PCpl Romer Ruiz-warrant server conducted law enforcement at Purok Tipsong, Brgy. Ma. Cristina, Dapitan City that resulted in the arrest of Ariel Napao Jumuad, 47 years aold, married and a resident of Brgy. Banonong, Dapitan City by virtue of WOA for RA 9262 docketed in Criminal Case Numbers 24555, 24556 and 24557 issued by Judge Jose Rene G. Dondoyano of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City dated January 25, 2021 with bail bond recommended amounting to Php 72, 000.00 each case. Arrested wanted person is now under the custody of Dapitan CPS for proper disposition.
Hacking Incident
Piñan MPS- Be informed that at about 8:00 PM of February 4, 2021, a hacking incident transpired at Barangay Poblacion North, Pinan ZN wherein the victim was identified as Oscar Demit Cuevas, 43 years old, married, Barangay Tanod, and the suspect was also identified as Reynaldo Tumilid Bajamonde 53 years old, married, both residents of said place. Initial investigation conducted disclosed that while the victim was at the barbecue store situated at the aforementioned place, the suspect appeared and without any words, suddenly hacked the victim by the used of bolo hitting in the different parts of the body. The victim was brought to Pinan district hospital for medical treatment while the suspect was arrested by the responding team and now in the custody of Pinan MPS. Motive of the incident is personal grudge.
