CTG Member Arrested for Homicide in San Miguel
PNP personnel of San Miguel Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Intelligence Unit – Regional Intelligence Unit 9, Regional Intelligence Division 9, 902nd Maneuver Company, 2nd Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted joint operation at Purok 1, Barangay Dumalian, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur at 7:00 p.m. of May 13, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrested of Romeo Sanlao Balolong aka Hildo, a Communist Terrorist Group member under Guerilla Front KARA, WMRPC, male, 59 years old, Kristohanon, Elementary Level, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay Dumalian, San Miguel, Zamboanga del Sur with warrant of arrest for Multiple Frustrated Homicide with Criminal Case No. 11440-2814 dated June 25, 2014 signed by Hon. Felix B Rodriguez Jr, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 18, Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur with bail bond recommended amounting to two hundred thousand pesos (₱ 200,000.00). The arrested person is currently detained at San Miguel MPS for proper disposition.
Robbery Extortion Incident
PNP personnel of Pagadian City Police Station together with Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office – Provincial Intelligence unit and Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit conducted entrapment operation at 10:30 a.m. of May 13, 2021 at Purok Militar, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City. The operation resulted in the arrest of Ariel Consolacion Basas, 54 years old, male, married, and a resident of Purok Luzaran, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City and his wife Emily Bathan Basas, 44 years old, female, married, and a resident of Purok Luzaran, Barangay Dao, Pagadian City. Confiscated from the possession of the suspects were two (2) pieces of five-hundred-peso bill (₱ 500.00) marked money, twenty-nine (29) pieces of one-thousand-peso bill (₱ 29,000) “budol” money and one unit Vivo cellphone. Investigation disclosed that the suspects demanded the amount of thirty thousand pesos (₱ 30,000.00) which was received from PSSg. Rodyl Failma Armada in exchange for the suspect not to file administrative case against him.
Drug Suspects and Suspect in a Motornapping Incident, Arrested
A motornapping incident transpired at San Jose Panigayan St, Zone 4, Zamboanga City 10:00 p.m. of May 13, 2021. Victim was identified as Solar Santillan of legal age of Sta Barbara, Zamboanga City. Allegedly, his red/black XRM 110 with plate no. JW6769 was missing and was last seen on their residence. Members of CIDG and Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted joint follow-up operation at Sevilla St, Zone 4, Zamboanga City at about 11:45 p.m. of May 13, 2021. During the course of operation, the team spotted two (2) male person identified as Jainal Yusop y Arasad, 24 years old, single, elementary level, jobless and a resident of Mulumuluan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City and Abdurahman Jami y Lagan, 23 years old, single, jobless, elementary level and a resident of Sinunuc, Zamboanga City. They were at the corner of Sevilla Street for violation of curfew hours, when asked for identification card, they got uneasy. Jainal Yusop threw something on the ground and upon checking it was a small aluminum box containing three (3) sachets of suspected Shabu and drug paraphernalia. Immediately, they were arrested and upon body search, two (2) sachets of suspected Shabu were on the right pocket of Abdirahman Jami. The estimated value of confiscated suspected Shabu is 2,500.00 pesos with estimated weight of 0.36 grams. Suspects and confiscated items were brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for drug test and drug examination. Subsequently, the said team continued the joint follow-up operation at Phase 1, Bugguk, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City. The operation resulted in the arrest of Bennajer D. Sadidul, 19 years old and resident of Phase 1, Bugguk, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City and recovered one (1) single motorcycle XRM 110 color red/ black with Plate No. JW6769. The motorcycle and arrested person were brought to Zamboanga City Police Station 11 for documentation and proper disposition and filling of legal charges in court.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Mampang
PNP intel operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 together with 904th Maneuver Company conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Executive Homes, Barangay Mampang, Zamboanga City at 2:35 p.m. of May 13, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Monjhier Omar y Mamolo, 36 years old, male, married, resident of 56C, Veterans Avenue, Barangay Zone 4, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for Murder under Art. 248 of RPC with Criminal Case No. 43780 issued and signed by Presiding Judge Shene C. Cañete, 9th RTC, Branch 35 Zamboanga City dated February 6, 2020 with No recommended bail bond. Accused is presently under the custody of the said police station prior turn over to court concerned.

PNP personnel of 904th Maneuver Company together with intel operatives and warrant server of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 conducted law enforcement operation against wanted person at Zone 4, Barangay Sta. Barbara, Zamboanga City at 1:15 p.m. of May 13, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Mico Omar y Mamolo, 29 years old, male, single, resident of 56C, Zone 4, Veterans Avenue, this city for Murder with Criminal Case no. 43780 under Art. 248 of RPC issued by Presiding Judge Shene C Cañete, 9th RTC, Branch 35, Zamboanga City dated February 6, 2020 with no recommended bail bond. Accused is presently under the custody of the said police station prior turn over to court concerned.

PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 3 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Zone1, Kalye Riyal Barangay Mercedes Zamboanga City at 5:45 p.m. of May 13 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Jaime Aragon y Mariano Jr. 49 years old, male, married, vendor, high school level and Armando Aragon y Diaz, 40 years old male, married, vendor, high school level, both are residents of Zone 1, Kalye Riyal Barangay Mercede, Zamboanga City. Recovered from their possession were (8) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 6,800 weighing 1 gram and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 as marked money. They are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 together with 904th Maneuver Company conducted drug buy-bust operation at Sibigtul drive, Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City at about 8:25 p.m. of May 13 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Usman Muhang y Mahang, 36 years old, separated, elementary level, jobless, and Nerissa Sampang y Espino, 21 years old, separated, jobless, elementary level both are residents of Canelar, Barangay Mampang Zamboanga City. Recovered from their possessions were seven (7) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3,000.00 weighing 0.5 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 marked money. They are now under the custody of the said police station in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok 3, Barangay Malagutay, Zamboanga City at 10:40 p.m. of May 13, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Felecito F Dela Serna, 39 years old, male, married, elementary level, habal2x driver, and a resident of Burigsay, Barangay Malagutay, Zamboanga City. Recovered from his possession were three (3) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 4,000.00 weighing 0.79 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 50.00 and one (1) bill of ₱100.00 as marked money. he is now under the custody of the said police station in preparation for filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Men Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ipil
PNP personnel of Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit together with Provincial Intelligence Unit, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and Ipil Municipal Police Station (MPS), conducted intel-driven buy-bust operation which resulted arrest of Purok Jerusalem, Barangay Don Andres, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 4:30 p.m. of May 13, 2021. Jamil Nalaonan Jagit, 25 years old, male, single, elementary level, farmer, resident of Purok Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated items were: four (4) heat sealed plastic sachets of suspected Shabu and one (1) heat sealed plastic sachet of suspected Shabu (buy-bust item) with an estimated value of ₱ 16,000.00 weighing 2 grams, and one (1) piece ₱ 500.00 bill as marked money, one (1) piece disposable yellow lighter, one (1) piece cigarette box, one (1) piece blue led light, one (1) piece white paper rolled and one (1) unit Qnet cellular phone. Arrested suspect was brought to Ipil MPS for proper disposition while confiscated items were turned over to the Provincial Crime Laboratory for examination.
Man Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Kabasalan
Station Drug Enforcement Team of Kabasalan Municipal Police Station (MPS) together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted buy-bust operation at Purok 1, Barangay Concepcion, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay at 7:30 p.m. of May 13, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Joseph King Cenas Enriquez, 35 years old, male, single, elementary level, tricycle driver and a resident of Purok 2, Barangay Concepcion, Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated during the operation were: 3 pieces’ heat sealed small plastic transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “Shabu” with estimated weight of 2 grams and value of ₱ 13, 600.00, one (1) black wallet, one (1) piece driver’s license id card and 4 pieces ₱ 1, 000.00 bills boodle money topped with 1 pc. of genuine ₱ 500.00 bill (marked money). Arrested person and confiscated items are now under the custody of Kabasalan MPS for proper disposition. A case for violation of R.A. 9165 is being prepared against the suspect.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Sindangan
PNP personnel of Leon B. Postigo Municipal Police Station conducted intel driven joint manhunt operation together with Zamboanga del Norte Police Provincial Office – Provincial Intelligence Unit at Barangay Talinga, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte at 9:35 a.m. of May 13, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest Oliver Oyuhan Caling, aka “Ever”, 32 years old, male, single, elementary graduate and a resident of Barangay Talinga, Leon B. Postigo, Zamboanga del Norte. The arrest was made by virtue of warrant of arrest for the crime of “Murder” docketed under Criminal Case Number S-6276 issued by Hon. Joel Gonzaga Vercide, Acting Presiding Judge, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 11, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte dated April 21st 2021, with no bail bond recommended. Arrested person is now temporarily detained at the said police station for documentation and disposition of the case.
