Arrest of Wanted Person Sindangan MPS – Be informed that at about 10:30 AM of April 20, 2021, personnel of Sindangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCMS John Henrick Ferolino-Intel PNCO conducted Manhunt Operation at Barangay Goleo, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of the following Wanted Persons (WPs) namely: Reynaldo Dalam Abatay, 36, male, married, resident of Piao, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte and Joel Espina Aliser, 38, male, married resident of Poblacion, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of RA 7610 docketed under Criminal Case No. S-6234 issued by Presiding Judge Joel Gonzaga Vercide of RTC Br. 11, 9th Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte dated April 5, 2021 with bail fixed to Eighty Thousand (₱ 80,000.00) pesos each. The arrested WPs are now under the police custody of Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of Top 8 Most Wanted Person (Municipal Level) Katipunan MPS
Be informed that at about 11:00 AM of April 20, 2021, joints elements of Intel operatives from Katipunan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PMaj. Vincent Magallanes Virtudaz O, ACOP and personnel from Sinacaban MPS led PLt. Camalodin Pondag Bantuas, Deputy Chief of police, Zamboanga del Norte HPG, Maritime Zamboanga del Norte and CIDG Mis. Occ. conducted Manhunt Operation at Barangay Sinacaban, Misamis Occidental that resulted to the arrest of Top 8 MWP (Municipal Level) one Edwin Sumondong y Atad , 34 years old, male with live-in partner and a resident of Purok Rubia, Barangay Colupan Bajo, Sinacaban, Mis Occidental by Virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Robbery under Criminal Case No. 21351 issued by Presiding Judge Ric S. Bastasa of RTC Region 8, Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte dated July 17, 2016 with recommended bail amounting to Forty Thousand (₱ 40,000.00) pesos and Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Malicious mischief under Criminal Case No. 159 issued by Presiding Judge Alnaiza Hassarem-Jamud of 5th MCTC Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte dated March 22, 2017 with recommended bail amounting to Two Thousand (₱ 2,000.00) pesos. The arrested MWP is now under the custody of Katipunan MPS for proper disposition.
Arrest of 4 Suspect on Illegal Gambling (Cockfighting) Roxas MPS
Be informed that at about 11:50 AM of April 20, 2021, personnel of Roxas Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCMS Richard C. Suasula together with PCpl. Mervin D. Jalosjos, PCpl. Gethro V. Santander, PCpl Rene A. Kilat and Pat Leslie Ryan O. Dangase conducted Intel Driven Law Enforcement Operation against Illegal Gambling at Purok 6, Barangay Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of one Rodulfo Pizon Balais, 36 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte, Edwin Tuganan Belarmino, 56 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte; Johnny Clarion Tanaga, 28 years old, male, married and a resident of Purok 6, Barangay Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte and Alex Angana Sibonga, 27 years old, male, single and a resident of Purok 4, Barangay Langatian, Roxas, Zamboanga del Norte after being caught in the act engaging in illegal cockfighting activity while other suspects managed to escape from the operating team and confiscation of one-pc. cockfighting gaff, two fighting cocks and bet money amounting to Two Hundred (₱ 200.00) pesos. The arrested suspects are now under the custody of Roxas MPS for documentation and filing of appropriate case against them in court.

Be informed that at about 12:00 NN of April 20, 2021, PNP personnel of Sindangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCMS John Henrick Ferolino-Intel PNCO conducted Intel Driven Operation against WP at Barangay Goleo, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of one Marlo Palomares Gamolo, 65 years old, male, married, jobless, resident of Barangay Goleo, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of RA 9262 with Criminal Case No. S-6247 issued by presiding judge Joel Gonzaga Vercide, of RTC Br. 11 of 9th Judicial Region, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte dated April 5, 2021 with bail fixed to Seventy Two Thousand (₱ 72,000.00) pesos. The arrested WP is now under the police custody of Sindangan MPS for proper disposition.
Service of Warrant of Arrest Sirawai MPS
Be informed that at about 2:00 PM of April 20, 2021, PNP personnel of Sirawai Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PLt. Roy Omerez Malayo-OIC, successfully serve the Warrant of Arrest at Siocon BJMP, Siocon Zamboanga del Norte to Jerry Pitak Abunawas, 39 yo, male, married, Carpenter, who still detained at BJMP, Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte. The above-named Wanted Person has a pending Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Robbery with Homicide docketed under Criminal Case No. 2021-03-09 (2143) issued by Acting presiding Judge Anthony D. Isaw of Branch 27, RTC9 Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte dated March 19, 2021 with no bail recommended. Further, the said wanted person was still under the custody at Siocon BJMP, Siocon Zamboanga del Norte for violation of R.A. 9165 and Illegal possession of firearms and explosive.
Arrest of Wanted Person Siayan MPS
Be informed that at about 1:00 PM of April 20, 2021, PNP personnel of Siayan Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PCMS Noel Guile conducted intensified police operation and intel driven operation thru service of Warrant of Arrest at Barangay Polayo, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte that resulted to the arrest of one Angeles Gemida Lavente, 42 yrs old, married, female, Filipino, DepEd Teacher, College graduate, resident of Polayo, Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated March 25, 2021 charged for the crime of Slander (Oral Defamation) docketed under Criminal Case No. 13357 issued by Presiding Judge Nimfa B. Carreon-Padao of Third Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Sindangan, Siayan, Leon B. Postigo and Jose Dalman dated March 19, 2021 with bail recommended amounting to Six Thousand (₱ 6,000.00) pesos for his temporary liberty. The arrested Wanted Person is now under the custody of Siayan MPS for proper disposition.
Shooting Incident Sindangan MPS
Be informed that at about 5:00 PM of April 20, 2021, Sindangan Municipal Police Station (MPS) received a cellphone call from Barangay Kagawad of Barangay Pangalalan, Sindangan, Zamboanga del Norte that a shooting incident transpired at the National Highway of their Barangay at about 4:50 PM. Acted on the said report, PNP elements of said station led by PSMS Joseph M. Guzman immediately responded pertaining to the report on board on PNP marked vehicle (Toyota Hilux) and contacted the MDRRMO of Sindangan. Upon arrival on the place of incident, the crime scene was cordoned and the victim was hurriedly brought to Sindangan District Hospital by the ambulance of MDRRMO. During the crime scene investigation, the team recovered the followings; Four pieces fired cartridge cases (FCC) and Four fired bullets. The victim was identified as Michael S. Catubig, 51 years old, married, male, Filipino and a resident of Barangay Sigamok, Jose Dalman, Zamboanga del Norte. Initial Investigation conducted disclosed that while the victim was walking going to Barangay Pangalalan proper to bet on a lotto outlet (STL) and upon arrival in the crime scene, two unidentified persons riding a Blue Honda Click Motorcycle, with no plate number attached suddenly stopped in his location and the back rider pulled a caliber 45 pistol then shot the victim several times hitting the different parts of his body. That, the victim was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician Dr. Dyrlee Enriquez. Victim sustained thirteen (13) gunshot wounds on his body and some of the Bullets hit on his head near right eye, at the left side lower part of his neck and then to his chest.
Arrest of Wanted Person Dapitan CPS
Be informed that at about 7:00 PM of April 20, 2021, Intel operatives and warrant server of Dapitan City Police Station (CPS) led by PSSg. Dexter Labisig, PCpl. Romer Ruiz and Zamboanga del Norte Provincial Police Office (ZNPPO) Tracker Team 9 conducted Intel driven operation against wanted person at Sitio Balaw, Taguilon, Dapitan City that resulted to the arrest of one Richard Tumagna Mucay, 44 years old, male, married, treasure hunter and a resident of Sitio Balaw, Taguilon, Dapitan City by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Acting Presiding Judge Jose Rene Dondoyano of RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 7, Dipolog City dated April 12, 2021 for violation of R.A. 9262 (Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004) docketed under Criminal Case No. 24736 with bail amounting to Seventy Two Thousand (₱ 72, 000.00) pesos. The arrested wanted person is now under the custody of Dapitan CPS for documentation and proper disposition.
Arrest of Suspect for Illegal Possession of Firearms (RA 10591) Salug MPS
Be informed that at about 10:45 AM of April 30, 2021 personnel of 2nd ZNPMFC led by PLtCol. Vedasto J. Dasmariñas-FC, 2nd ZNNPMFC, PCpl. John Orville B. Palma, PCpl. Genesis C. Silao, Pat Harry Niel V. Bangguiao, Pat Jerum Mirasol and Pat Rey Christian P. Lilic on board with Liloy Municipal Police Station (MPS) Mahindra Patrol Car, proceeded to Barangay Goin, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte in response to the cellphone call from Barangay Capt. of Barangay Goin and informing Liloy MPS that there was a person in his area allegedly disguising himself as a Police Officer and allegedly had an unknown Caliber of Firearm. Upon arrival in the place of incident, the suspect already fled going to Barangay Overview, Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte. Responding team chased and arrested the said suspect and successfully recovered from his possession and control the one (1) unit improvised pistol with Four (4) pcs. live ammunition of 12-gauge Shotgun. Said suspect was informed of his constitutional rights and anti-torture law and subsequently brought to Liloy Integrated Health District Hospital for medical examination. The arrested suspect was temporarily detained at custodial facility of Salug Municipal Police Station for proper disposition.
