Grenades, Medical Supplies, NPA Banner and Assorted Propaganda Materials Confiscated in Midsalip
PNP personnel of Midsalip Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit 9, 902nd Maneuver Company, Regional Intelligence Division 9, 53rd Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army conducted intelligence driven operation that led to the successful recovery of two (2) fragmentation Grenades (MK1 and M67) and one (1) Riffle Grenade, Medical Supplies, NPA Banner and Assorted propaganda materials on April 15, 2021, at about 5:00 PM. Said items were once entrusted by Lorito Dagpin aka Elyong/Elmo VCO MRGU WMRPC to the two (2) CTG surrenderees, who buried the said items at the vicinity of Sitio Dibulo, Barangay Pawan, Midsalip Zamboanga del Sur. Further, the two CTG surrenderees who surrendered on April 14, 2021 at Midsalip Municipal Police Station were properly turned over to Brgy Captain Ronald Tag-ulo of Barangay Pisompongan, Midsalip, Zamboanga del Sur at around 5:10 PM of same date. Recovered Items are now in the custody of the said station for proper disposition.
Top 3 Most Wanted Person of Aurora, Arrested
PNP personnel of Aurora Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted law enforcement operation through service of warrant of arrest at Purok Rubia, Barangay Bayabas, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur at about 8:00AM of April 15, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Archer Amaro Durangparang aka “Gang-gang”, male, 42 years old, married, delivery boy and a resident of Purok Rubia, Barangay Bayabas, Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of arrest issued by Hon. Analyn Ramas Costanilla, RTC 9th Judicial Region, Branch 30, Aurora Zamboanga del Sur for the Crime of Rape issued last September 11, 2017, Docketed under Criminal Case No. 17-10, 1391 with no bail bond recommended. He was brought to Aurora Municipal Police Station for proper disposition and now temporarily detained at Aurora MPS while waiting for his commitment order.

6 Drug Suspects were arrested in separate drug buy-bust operations conducted by Police Stations under Zamboanga City Police Office on April 14-16, 2021.
Michael Manalo y Gregorio aka “Mike”, 37 years old, male, single, car and motorshop caretaker was arrested by PNP elements of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 in a drug buy-bust operation at Agan extension road, Barangay Sta. Maria, Zamboanga City at 12:15 PM, April 14, 2021. Confiscated during the operation were 3 pieces of plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be Shabu with an estimated weight of 1 gram and street value of ₱ 6,800.00; one (1) Bravo Cigarette pack used as container ; one (1) one thousand peso bill with serial no. LF908828. All suspected drug items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office 9 for examination.
Abdurajan Nawadi y Mandi aka “Thotz”, 27 years old, male, married, seaweed plantation/worker was arrested by police operatives of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit 9 in a drug buy-bust operation at Logoy Jutay, Barangay Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City at about 9:00 PM, April 15, 2021. Confiscated during the operation were: one (1) heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; three (3) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (possession) with an estimated weight 25 grams and street value of ₱ 170,000.00; one (1) empty Marlboro cigarette pack used as container; one (1) One Thousand peso bill Philippine currency marked money with serial no. AX515115(used as buy bust money); one (1) boodle which consists of eleven (11) of one thousand peso bill bogus money all with serial no. KD798762. All suspected drug items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Omboy Omar y Jali aka “Boy”, 42 years old, male, married, high school graduate, Habal-habal driver was arrested by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Asinan, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at about 2:00 PM of April 15, 2021. Recovered during the operation were two (2) sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 10, 200.00 weighing more or less 1.5 grams and two (2) bills of ₱ 100.00 registered marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 5 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Sitti Normina Mahadali y Mustafa a.k.a. “Normina”, 37 years old, female, widowed, unemployed, college graduate, was arrested by police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at about 9:00 PM of April 15, 2021. Recovered during the operation were Three (3) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1, 500.00 weighing 0.22 grams, One (1) Bravo Cigarette Empty Pack and two (2) pcs of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. She is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 4 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Bennajar Jalilul y Zarma, 42 years old, male, married, unemployed, was arrested by police personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Asinan, Barangay Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City at 12:15 AM of April 16, 2021. Recovered during the operation were five (5) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected Shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 3, 500.00 weighing more or less 0.51 grams, one (1) black wallet and two (2) pcs of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. All recovered items will be brought to Zamboanga City Crime Laboratory Office for examination.

Barbara, Zamboanga City was arrested by PNP personnel of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 in an anti-illegal drugs operation at Pasay, Barangay San Roque, Zamboanga City at 1:35 AM of April 16, 2021. Recovered during the operation were two (2) heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱ 1, 500.00 weighing more or less 0.22 grams and two (2) pcs of ₱ 100.00 bill as marked money. He is now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 1 in preparation of filing of appropriate charges in court. Drug Suspect Arrested in Zamboanga City
Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 conducted operation against wanted person at P. Lorenzo St., Barangay Zone 4, Zamboanga City. The operation resulted in the arrest of Munir Akit y Isko, 39 years old, male, married of Barangay Campo Islam, Zamboanga City at 12:50 PM of April 15, 2021. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest docketed under Criminal Case No. 34741 for Violation of Section 11, Article II of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued and signed by Hon. Vera T Vergara, Regional Trial Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch 14, Zamboanga City dated July 22, 2020 with bail recommended of Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (₱ 200,000.00). He is presently under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 prior turn over to the concerned court.
Murder Suspect Arrested in Arena Blanco
Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 10 together with Naval Intelligence Security Group conducted joint operation against wanted person at Purok 7, Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City at about 6:00 PM of April 15, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Araji Kamman y Jammang, 61 years old, male, married, and a resident of Purok 7, Barangay Arena Blanco, Zamboanga City. He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest with Criminal Case No. 29050 for the crime of Murder issued and signed by Hon. Catherine C. Fabian, Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region, Branch 16, Zamboanga City with no bail recommended. Accused is presently under the custody of ZCPS10 prior turn over to the concerned court.
Fisherman Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Ipil
Municipal Drug Enforcement Team of Ipil Municipal Police Station conducted buy-bust operation at Purok Masigla, Barangay Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay at 8:40 AM of April 1, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Melvin Abundo, 20 years old, single, fisherman, elementary graduate, and a resident of Purok Rose, Barangay Makilas, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay. Confiscated during the operation were; one (1) small sachet of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.013 grams, two (2) pieces small sachets of suspected Shabu with estimated weight of 0.026 grams all with estimated weight of 0.039 grams, with value of ₱ 1,500.00; one (1) unit black cellphone, one (1) blue sling bag, one (1) unit black/white XRM Honda with plate number JA 58318 with ignition key and one (1) piece ₱ 500.00 with serial number E122321. He is now under the custody of the said police station for proper disposition. Confiscated illegal drugs were turned over to Provincial Crime Laboratory Office for examination.
Man Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Dipolog
Police personnel of Dipolog City Police Station conducted drug buy-bust operation at Purok. Bouguinvilla, Turno, Dipolog City at 4:30 PM of April 15, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Daryl Caipong Dialogo, 36 years old, male, single, self-employed, high school level and a resident of Purok Bougenvilla, Barangay Turno, Dipolog City. Confiscated during the operation were seven (7) pieces small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (Shabu); one (1) piece five hundred peso (₱ 500.00) bill bearing serial numbers AW865950 served as buy bust money; one (1) piece open transparent plastic cellophane served as container of Shabu, (1) piece small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (Shabu) bought by the poseur buyer as buy-bust evidence. Estimated street value of confiscated illegal drugs amounts to twenty seven thousand two hundred pesos (₱27,200.00) and with an estimated weight of 4 grams. He is now under the custody of the said police station pending filing of formal complaint. Cases for violation of RA 9165 were being readied for filing in court against the suspect.
Security Guard Arrested in a Drug Buy-Bust Operation in Dipolog
PNP personnel of Dipolog City Police Station together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency- Dipolog City conducted drug buy-bust operation at Barangay, Punta, Dipolog City at 9:40 PM of April 15, 2021. The operation resulted in the arrest of Roger Sagario Ybañes, 37 years old, male, married, security guard, high school graduate and a resident of Barangay Punta, Dipolog City. Confiscated during the operation were three (3) pieces small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; two (2) pieces medium size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) piece large size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; one (1) piece Five Hundred Peso (₱ 500.00) bill bearing serial numbers D323879 served as buy-bust money; one (1) pc. black wallet served as container of shabu; one unit caliber .38 revolver with serial number 12952379 loaded with four live ammunitions; one (1) pc security company I.D; cash amounting to Five Hundred Twenty Pesos (₱ 520.00) in different denominations; one (1) unit Cherry Mobile Android cellphone; one (1) unit Honda Beat motorcycle with key and one unit sling bag. Also declared in the presence of the witnesses and arrested suspect is one (1) piece small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu bought by the poseur buyer from the arrested suspect as buy-bust evidence. Estimated street value of confiscated illegal drugs amounting to Sixty Eight Thousand Pesos (₱ 68,000.00) with estimated weight of 10 grams. He is now under the custody of Dipolog City Police Station pending filing of formal complaint. Cases for violation of R.A. 9165 and RA 10591 were being readied for filing in court against the suspect.
