PHOENIX Super LPG acquired two legitimate players who are expected to work wonders in the long run for the Dennis Uy franchise in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

The Fuel Masters got from NLEX 6-foot-7 Tzaddy Rangel and veteran go-to-guy Reden Celda in exchange for 6-foot-8 Ben Adamos.

“Tzaddy Rangel is a big man who has a lot of ‘ups’ because he’s a former Gilas Pilipinas player and known to be a hard worker in the post while Celda is a player who can really score,” Phoenix team manager Paolo Bugia told BusinessMirror Thursday.

The trade was approved by the Commissioner’s Office.

Adamos, on the other hand, will be joining his former San Beda coach Frankie Lim together with big man Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and Mike Miranda.

Adamos’s arrival comes after NLEX terminated Jay-R Quiañahan’s contract.
