“Usapang Asenso: Together for a Drug-Free City”
As we culminate Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week 2024, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to this important campaign. I especially commend our vibrant youth for actively engaging in our “Usapang Asenso” initiative, a meaningful dialogue towards building a drug-free and progressive Pagadian City.
Drug abuse is a significant threat to our community’s future and well-being. Through awareness, education, and strong community partnerships, we can protect our youth and empower them to make positive choices. “Usapang Asenso” has provided a platform for our youth to voice their aspirations, ideas, and concerns because true progress begins with listening and understanding their needs.
Let this week serve as a reminder of our collective responsibility. Real growth and development cannot be achieved with band-aid solutions, they require genuine commitment, transparent leadership, and sustained action. Together, let us continue working towards a safer, healthier, and drug-free City where every Pagadianon can thrive and contribute meaningfully.
Let us remain united in this fight against drug abuse and committed to building a brighter future for our beloved Pagadian City.
