Police authorities coming from different police stations and operating units intensify enforcement of GCQ guidelines and health protocols Sunday, as the city imposes lockdown amid the surging cases.
Unauthorized persons outside residences as well as those not complying the minimum health standards were issued citation tickets.
Aside from establishing random checkpoints, police authorities also conduct motorcycle patrols, security coverage/police visibility in places of worship and inspection /monitoring of beaches and inland as well as mountain resorts, as part of the whole of government approach in the battle against COVID-19.
