Roll-out of information caravan on clearing of riverbank easement at Mormon’s Drive in Tetuan Tuesday morning, February 7. This is in line with the proposed Riverbank Protection Project of the DPWH Region IX as strongly supported by Mayor John Dalipe and District 2 Cong. Mannix Dalipe.
Facilitated by the Public Information Division and the Housing and Land Management Division under the Office of the City Mayor, the information caravan seeks to clarify issues and concerns related to the project.
Families that will be affected by the project will be resettled in Azcuna Subdivision in barangay Mercedes.
Present to answer queries from the participants are DILG, DENR, OCENR, City Mayor’s Office, CEO, CSWDO, City Assessor’s Office, Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), JTFZ, ZCPO, ZCWD and Zamcelco as well as Tetuan Chair Walmart Atilano, EA II Amado Natividad Jr. and numerous others.
