A 30-year old motorcycle theft suspect was arrested by operatives of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 in a law enforcement operation against wanted person at Fatima, Liloy, Zamboanga Del Norte at 3:50 PM of October 30, 2020. PMAJ. Elmer P. Solon, Station Commander of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 identified the arrested suspect as Donald John Uy Capili, 30 years old, male, married, and a resident of Fatima, Liloy Zamboanga Del Norte.
He was arrested by Virtue of Warrant of Arrest for violation of section 3 of RA 10883 otherwise known as “The Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, docketed under Criminal Case No. 45860, issued and signed by Hon. Shene C. Cañete, Presiding Judge Of Regional Trial Court, 9th Judicial Region Branch 35, Zamboanga City, dated October 22, 2020 with a recommended bail bond of ₱ 300, 000.00.
After the arrest, accused was appraised of constitutional rights and he was immediately transported to Zamboanga City Police Station 11 for proper disposition.
