The BFAR 5 Gender and Development Focal Point System (GAD FPS), in collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross Camarines Sur, conducted a bloodletting drive dubbed “Dugo Para kay Juana at Juan” on March 17, 2025, at the BFAR Regional Office in Fabrica, Bula, Camarines Sur.
The initiative aimed to encourage voluntary blood donation among BFAR 5 employees, emphasizing its life-saving importance and contribution to a sufficient supply of safe blood in the region. This activity was also held in observance of National Women’s Month, reinforcing the role of both women and men in humanitarian efforts.
The Philippine Red Cross Camarines Sur facilitated the collection, conducting standard health screenings to ensure that all donated blood met safety and quality standards.
