The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office V – Bicol Region has intensified its logistics operations to ensure that food support is ready for rapid dispatch to families affected by Typhoon #UwanPH.

In Pamplona, Camarines Sur, a total of 1,089 Family Food Packs (FFPs) have been loaded and prepared for immediate deployment to support households in need.

At the same time, the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur (PLGU) has begun loading 10,000 Family Food Packs intended for various municipalities across the province. The loading operations have been ongoing since last night, with teams working continuously to meet delivery requirements and accelerate relief provision.

These efforts are carried out under the leadership of Regional Director Norman S. Laurio, ensuring that relief resources are ready for immediate augmentation to requesting LGUs. This readiness also aligns with the guidance of DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian to maintain strong coordination with local governments, and supports the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. for proactive and well-prepared disaster response across affected communities.
