Iriga: Nine PCOs promoted to PLTCOL rank in PRO5

    Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City – Nine police commissioned personnel from the Police Regional Office 5 were officially promoted to the rank of Police Lieutenant Colonel. The event, which included an oath-taking and donning of ranks, was presided over by PBGEN ANDRE P DIZON, RD, PRO5 as the administering officer on December 27, 2024 at the Multi-Purpose Building, Camp BGen Simeon A Ola, Legazpi City.

    The promoted personnel include PLTCOL DIOME C CARDANO; PLTCOL ANTONIO I PEREZ; PLTCOL ROSALINDA A GASTON; PLTCOL JOSEPH ABEL D JARABEJO; PLTCOL ROMEL T SANTOS; PLTCOL BARRY GIBB ZORILLA; PLTCOL DOMINIC B BORIGAS; PLTCOL RODOLFO Z BORROMEO; and PLTCOL KIM LAWRENCE R ARENAS.

    The ceremony was attended by families, colleagues, and senior officials of PRO5, all of whom extended their warm congratulations to the newly promoted police officers.

    This promotion is part of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) continuous efforts to recognize and reward deserving officers, aligning with the 4th Quarter Calendar 2024 Police Lieutenant Continuous Promotion program. The initiative underscores the PNP’s commitment to career progression and development among its personnel, ensuring that competent leaders are placed in key positions to uphold peace and order in the region.

    As Police Lieutenant Colonels, the promoted officers will take on more demanding roles that involve overseeing critical operations, managing personnel, and ensuring the efficient delivery of police services. Their leadership will be pivotal in addressing the challenges of law enforcement in the region, including crime prevention, public safety, and community engagement.
