A street-level drug suspect was taken into custody during a targeted anti-drug operation in Barangay Peñafrancia, Naga City, on January 27, 2026, following the lawful execution of a search warrant.
The operation was led by the Criminal Intelligence Unit/City Police Drug Enforcement Unit of the Naga City Police Office, in coordination with Police Station 3 and the City Mobile Force Company, demonstrating the city’s relentless commitment to combating illegal drugs.
The apprehended suspect, identified by the alias “Amy,” was caught in possession of ten heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, with a total weight of 12.8 grams and an estimated street value of Php 87,040.00.
The search was conducted under strict legal procedures, in the presence of the suspect and authorized witnesses, ensuring full transparency and accountability.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspect
