The Provincial Government of Albay distributed Livelihood Assistance Grants to Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
The assistance was formally turned over during the second Albay ceremonial distribution held on February 2 at the AECID Hall of the Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office building.
Beneficiaries were selected from 4Ps members with existing livelihood activities identified as needing additional support based on validation and assessment by their respective city and municipal links.
The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office said 50 beneficiaries from different cities and municipalities each received PHP 10,000 in livelihood assistance.
The office added that recipients will be closely monitored by both the provincial and national social welfare agencies to ensure proper use of the grants and sustained income generation for beneficiary families.
