Iriga: Guinobatab Buy-Bust Operation Nets Drug Peddler

A 43-year-old male was arrested after allegedly selling illegal drugs to a police poseur-buyer during a buy-bust operation conducted in Brgy. Quitago, Guinobatan, Albay on June 19, 2026, at around 3:30 PM.

The operation was jointly carried out by personnel of the Guinobatan Municipal Police Station, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) of Albay PPO, and PDEA Albay Team in coordination with PDEA Regional Office V.

The suspect, identified by his alias “Win,” was apprehended after allegedly selling suspected shabu to an undercover operative.

Recovered during the operation were seven (7) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 5.875 grams, with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of Php39,950.00.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to Guinobatan MPS for proper documentation and disposition.

The marking, inventory, and photography of the seized items were conducted at the place of arrest in the presence of the suspect and the required witnesses, in accordance with established procedures.

The suspect will be charged for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
