According to the report of the PRO5 as of December 31, 2025, a cumulative total of 810 illegal firecrackers were confiscated and disposed.
Acting Regional Director Police Brigadier General Erosito N. Miranda emphasized the importance of the event in protecting lives and ensuring a safe and injury-free festive season.
“Ang pagsira ng mga paputok na ito ay isang malinaw na mensahe na ang inyong kapulisan ay laging nakaantabay upang protektahan ang bawat mamamayan,” PBGen. Miranda said.
The DOH Bicol CHD urges the public to avoid using illegal firecrackers and instead celebrate the holidays wisely by using safe alternatives such as torotot, kaldero, or joining community firework displays in the community. (DOH5/MDUB) Let us welcome the New Year safely. Gawing #PinaSigla ang holidays, dahil sa Bagong Pilipinas Bawat Buhay ay Mahalaga.
