The City Agricultureโs Office facilitated the City Agricultural and Fishery Council (CAFC) election on November 22, 2024, at the Senior Citizen Conference Room.
The event, attended by representatives from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) as observers, the active participation of 22 registered Farmers Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) from the city.
The initiative aims to select CAFC officers who will serve as advisory bodies to the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office V and the local government unit (LGU) to ensure the success of agricultural and fishery programs, particularly enterprise development efforts for increased productivity and income.
