Board Member Eva Josephine Ribaya was nominated as the Chairperson of the newly created Screening Committee during the 71st Regular Session of the 14th Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Albay.
This nomination is aligned with the recently approved Provincial Ordinance No. 0020-2023 entitled “Establishing Guidelines and Procedures in bequeathing of Recognition and Conferment to individuals, pairs, and groups of Albayanos with meritorious accomplishments, heroic deeds, and trail blazing achievements” authored by Board Member Melissa Abadeza-Armedilla.
In her capacity as Chairperson, Ribaya will soon nominate a Vice Chairperson and three (3) members who will collaboratively constitute the committee.
This committee holds a vital role in the implementation of the ordinance, ensuring that deserving individuals and groups in Albay receive due recognition for their outstanding contributions.
