The City Government of Iriga headed by Mayor Rex Oliva expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the medical missionaries, volunteers, security personnel and media partners, who played a vital role in the success of its four major medical, dental, and surgical missions through a special appreciation night, β€œGabi ng Pagpapasalamat.”

The medical missions provided free healthcare services to 3,967 patients, including general consultations, major and minor surgeries, and dental procedures. Additionally, 393 women from the Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Local Council of Women, and LGU women employees participated in breast and cervical cancer awareness programs.

To recognize the unwavering commitment of all partners, Certificates of Recognition were awarded during the event. The celebration embraced a barrio fiesta theme, where guests were entertained by the Iriga Folkloric Dance Troupe and some LGU employees, showcasing traditional and folkloric dances and OPM songs respectively.

The event was graced by City Officials, Department Heads, and Heads of Offices, with Vice Mayor Edsel Dimawait and the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod in attendance, showing the city’s collective gratitude and continued commitment to public health initiatives.

Mayor Rex Oliva lauded the dedication of everyone involved, reaffirming the Arriba Iriga administration’s commitment to bringing quality healthcare services to the people of Iriga.
