The Department of Trade and Industry – Surigao del Norte Provincial Office through the Consumer Protection Unit conducted a simultaneous Price and Supply Monitoring of Noche Buena Products to major supermarkets and grocery stores in Surigao City, Placer and Dapa, Surigao del Norte last week. As a result, a total of nineteen (19) business establishments were monitored.
DTI has already released this week the Suggested Retail Prices (SRPs) of all the Noche Buena items to help consumers in buying these products as Christmas season approaches. DTI-SDN aims to ensure that Surigaonon consumers will not fall victim to profiteering this holiday season by providing a guide that will help them make informed choices.
