ZAMBOANGA CITY – The Department of Health led by Regional Director Dr. Joshua Brillantes turns over to Mayor Maria Isabelle “Beng” Climaco-Salazar and City Health Officer Dr. Dulce Miravite 5 ambulances for the city’s main and lying-in clinics as well as to augment in the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program.
Forming part of the package were 10 units of cellphones that were also turned over to the city government by the DOH and the congressional representatives.
Two (2) of the ambulances will be for deployment to District II while 3 will be for District I. The ambulances including the cellphones were purchased by the DOH utilizing the 2019 Congressional Fund.
Also present during the turnover were Congressional Representatives Jawo Jimenez of District I and Manix Dalipe of District II, City Administrator Apple Go and Assistant City Administrator Cesar Raz among others. (R.G. Antonet A. Go)
