Governor Rosalina “Nanay Nene” Jalosjos in her commitment to sustain the brand of the administration “Misyon ko, tinuod nga serbisyo”, continues to turn to sod infrastructure development in the municipality of Sibuco with seven (7) projects amounting to Php. 32 Million pesos on September 24, 2024.
The series of ground-breaking ceremony is led by the Provincial Administrator Wilberth “Gaw Jojo” G. Magallanes along with 3rd District Board Member “Conkee” C. Buctuan, Former 3rd District Rep. Cesar G. Jalosjos, OIC- Provincial Engineer Rey C. Eguia, Head, Engr. Arman C. Alpeche, Head of the Construction Division, Atty Ivan Patrick Ang, Spokesman of the Governor. Also in attendance are Former Mayor of Siocon, Hon. Buboy Soriano, Hon. Mark Kenwey G. Perez, SB Member of the Municipality of Sibuco, Barangay Chairpersons and Council members.
Despite the erratic weather in the Sibuco, the provincial government pursue the ceremonial ground-breaking with following sites; (1) Construction of Barangay Hall at Barangay Poblacion amounting to Php. 6M; (2) Installation of 100 Units Solar Light, Barangay Poblacion with total amount of Php 10 Million; (3) Construction of Nala Elementary School Outdoor Stage and Dressing Room Phase-1 amounting to Php 1.5M; (4) Improvement of Water Supply at Brgy Pangian, Construction of Concrete Pathway of Panitan Elementary School with Solar Lights, Brgy Paniran amounting to Php 4.5M; (5) Construction of Sibuco National High School Perimeter Fence Phase-1 amounting to Php. 1,538,333.66; (6) Repair /Rehabilitation of Spillway, Barangay Jatian amounting to Php. 5M; and (7) Concreting of Barangay Tangarak Road Phase – 1 amounting to Php 3.5M.
“I feel amazed and it’s like waking up from a long sleep and now realizing that all the energy exerted in following up of the projects, effort and determination were all valued and given worth” said Chairman Cecilia N. Alas-as Barangay Chairman of Barangay Paniran. She further stresses that the projects are a realization of the dreams and hopes that she assures the constituents which finally arrived.
Barangay Poblacion Chairman Caril Merjan also extends his gratitude and became emotional in front of the officials who spearheads the ground-breaking ceremony. Expressing his delight, Chairman Merjan impresses the constituents a message of inspiration most especially on the commitment of the provincial government in improving the services for the ZaNortehanons.
The historic single day-seven sites ground-breaking ceremony is a manifestation of the commitment of the provincial government to uphold the promise to bring to the farthest part of the province the services of the current administration, a continuing mission of sincere service for the constituents who hopes to alleviate the present conditions of the various communities in the province.(Angelica T.
