PHO-ZNMC Health Emergency Management Staff (HEMS) continuously conducts the series of skills training on Basic Life Support Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (BLS-CPR) for Health Service Providers in Sirawai, Zamboanga del Norte RHU on November 12-13, 2024.
The skills training is facilitated for the compliance of the DOH mandatory requirements of the Regulation, Licensing, and Evaluation Division (RLED). This initiative also underscores the importance of primary care facility’s preparedness and aims to equip participants with crucial life-saving skills, provide knowledge and confidence needed to perform immediate care in the event of a cardiac emergency, significantly improving the chances of survival for victims.
In line with the HEADS leadership agenda of Governor Rosalina G. Jalosjos, the Provincial HEMS Training Team under Mr. Rommel C. Jamolod, Team Leader with the untiring efforts of Mr. Ralph Kevin T. Agustin, Mr. Kimberly L. Ko, and Mr. Gieron Barry N. Hampac highlights the significance of readiness of our primary health care facilities in enhancing disaster resilience and emergency response capabilities.
