Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte headed by the Station Commander CG CDR. ELAINE R. PANGILINAN rendered security assistance and participated in the random joint inspection of establishments at Surigao City Boulevard for compliance in the existing Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) protocols on 06 and 07 September 2021.
The said joint operation was also participated by Surigao City Police Station, Surigao City Bureau of Fire Protection, Surigao City Traffic and Surigao City Civil Security Unit which spearheaded by Atty. Manuelito Delani the City Legal Officer of Surigao City.
The objective of the operation was to surprisingly inspect and assess the compliance of the general public as well as business establishments in the observance of minimum health protocols such as proper wearing of facemask, face shield and social distancing.
CG CDR. PANGILINAN underscored her full support to the City Government of Surigao particularly in the City Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) in upholding the existing rules and guidelines in maintaining the minimum health standards to further prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the AOR of Coast Guard Station Surigao del Norte.
