The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Claver, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology โ Mindanao Cluster 2 had successfully launched the DICT Vaccine Administration System (DVAS) at Claver National High School on August 12, 2021.
The Go Live event was graced by Claverโs Municipal Mayor, Hon. Georgia Gokiangke, DICT MC2 Assistant Regional Director, Engr. Leo Ugto, and the DICT Provincial Officer for Surigao del Norte and the Province of Dinagat Island, Engr. Ricardo Bacolod.
The DICT Vaccine Administration System (DVAS) has ensured the ease and efficiency of the vaccination process in Claver. The vaccination team underwent training two days before the launch and was thoroughly supported by the LGU. Claver is the first in Surigao del Norte to use the DVAS as a systematic way of recording and monitoring their vaccinees.
With the help of DVAS, the municipality is aiming for paperless transaction and short vaccination turnaround time per client.
