City IATF Responds To A Facebook Post On A Cordoned Residence In The City

RULE: Covid-19 Protocols of City Health Office (EO# 61).

SEC. 3.6. Upon release of RT-PCR results, either positive or negative, the patient must CONTINUE and complete the 14-day Q period FROM DATE OF SWABBING. xxx

FACTS:

  1. While they were confined at the SDH, their swabs were taken for RT-PCR test on October 6, 2020.
  2. The test results arrived on October 12, 2020.
  3. One of them tested POSITIVE, the rest are negative.
  4. Those who tested negative have already recovered, so they were discharged from the hospital on October 13, 2020.

If we add the mandatory 14 days from Oct 6, the Q period would have ended by October 20, 2020.

  1. One of them who was tested POSITIVE was brought to the QF in Brgy Bonifacio.

She was tested of Anti-Gen, not RT-PCR, on Oct. 20, 2020.

If we add 14 days, her Q period would end on Nov 3, 2020.

Since she returned to their residence in San Juan, all of them shall RESET the start of 14-day Q period and end together on Nov 3, 2020.
