The City of Batac has been proudly conferred the prestigious 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), dubbed as βPagkilala sa Tapat at Mahusay na Pamamahalaβ.
Mayor Albert D. Chua, together with Sangguniang Panlungsod Member Markee R. Chua, City Local Government Operations Officer (CLGOO) Rodel D. Hilario, department and section heads of the CityΒ Government, as well as partners from the barangays and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), attended the awarding ceremony held earlier today at The Tent City, Manila Hotel.
This recognition reaffirms Batac’s strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in governance, showcasing the collaborative efforts of local leaders, stakeholders, and the community in achieving sustainable progress.
