As Ilocos Norte gears up for the 13th staging of the Tan-ok ni Ilocano: Festival of Festivals, nearly 6,000 artists and artisans are contributing their skills, showcasing the provinceβs thriving creative community, and supporting local livelihoods.
For over a decade, Tan-ok has highlighted Ilocos Norteβs diverse cultures and traditions, featuring performances from towns across the province and celebrating its heritage and pride. The festival continues to unite communities while promoting and preserving the provinceβs unique cultural identity. By providing space for artistic expression and traditional craftsmanship, it strengthens the local creative sector and reinforces the role of arts and culture in the provinceβs economic and social development.
On stage, performers bring energy and dynamism, while artists and artisans enrich the festivalβs visual and cultural landscape through their craftsmanship. Their work adds authenticity and meaning to each presentation, underscoring the provinceβs continuing investment in its creative industries and cultural heritage.
This yearβs festival will feature a 360-degree stage, offering the over 15,000 expected audience unobstructed views of every performance and a fully immersive experience. Ticket sales reflect strong public interest from residents and visitors from neighboring provinces with roughly 15,000 online tickets booked and more than 200 premium tickets already sold.
