At around 8:02 PM, Sept. 16, a total of 63 ROFs arrived at the Bancasi airport aboard PAL sweeper flight PR 4967.
The breakdown of the 63 ROFs is as follows:
Butuan City – 8
Agusan del Norte – 14
Agusan del Sur – 8
Surigao del Norte – 13
Surigao del Sur – 19
Dinagat Islands – 1
13 of the arriving ROFs (Agusan del Norte : Buenavista – 5 ; Nasipit – 3 ; Cabadbaran City – 4 ; Magallanes – 1) were fetched by their respective LGUs.
While the 8 ROFs from Butuan City were fetched by private vehicles/PUVs going to their respective barangays in the city.
Further, 13 ROFs from Surigao del Norte who are residents of Surigao City (6) , Dapa (1), Tubod (3), Placer (1), Sison (1), and Bacuag (1) were provided transportation assistance going to the Alegria Boundary checkpoint wherein their respective LGUs can fetch them.
Lastly, the remaining 29 (Tubay,ADN – 1 ; ADS – 8 ; SDS – 19 ; PDI – 1) were temporarily billeted at the accommodation arranged by OWWA Caraga while waiting for their respective LGUs to ferry them back to their respective localities subject to the established health protocols in their area.
